New on the practicePRO Lending Library shelf: Social Media for Lawyers

January 25, 2011 By: DanPinnington Category: Practice aids, Technology

One of the new additions to the practicePRO Lending Library is Social Media for Lawyers: The Next Frontier by Carolyn Elefant and Nicole Black.

This book addresses the legal marketing challenges and opportunities facing lawyers in the new world of Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. It aims to offer a practical approach to using social media in a law practice and will help lawyers decide what programs are a good fit for them, and how they can be used effectively and ethically.

It contains screenshots of the various social media platforms, advice on best practices and ‘netiquette’, and discusses legal issues such as copyright infringment and defamation.

  1. Dan,

I am so glad that you are able to make this book available to borrow. Though of course, I like book sales, I also know that the costs of these books can be prohibitive especially if someone just wants to read one or two select chapters. Your practicePRO lending library is a great solution.
