Court adjusting deadlines for National Truth and Reconciliation Day

Court offices will be closed on Monday, October 2, 2023 in honour of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Filing and issuance deadlines in the Rules of Civil Procedure, Family Law Rules and Rules of the Small Claims Court that fall on October 2, 2023 are extended to October 3, 2023. The Ministry of the Attorney General’s online civil, family, bankruptcy and small claims portals will remain available 24/7. Any documents submitted through the Justice Services Online portals on October 2, 2023 will be marked as filed/issued on October 3, 2023.

The Ministry of the Attorney General, Court Services Division’s Contact Centre for Online Services will also be closed on Monday, October 2, 2023 in honour of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, and will reopen on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 8:30 a.m.
