Bulletin 2018-04 states that effective December 10, 2018, pre-approvals, PIN corrections and overrides are no longer to be requested via [email protected], but rather in the OnLand portal at OnLand.ca.

Users must go to the OnLand portal at https://www.onland.ca where they will find “request forms” under the “support” and then “contact us” drop down menu. They must then fill-out and submit the relevant request form inside the OnLand portal. At that point, it will be automatically assigned to specialist staff within the Land Registry Office for review and processing in the ordinary course. It is important to note that the current lead-time is ten business days. As a risk mitigation measure, you are encouraged to provide as long a lead-time as possible to ensure the closing of your transaction is not put in jeopardy.
